More winter, a traitor, elf shoes, and scrubs

The two faces of Maya (art by Aunt Becky). We had lots of fun at Olivia's dinosaur themed party!

Dylan teaching Maya to play hockey. There's a few dings on the garage door, but Jake said he doesn't mind since these two playing are outside together. Dylan recently got to go to a Wild game, as well as the Twins opener (below). Luckily, their seats were near a heater.

                                                                April in Minnesota.

Cutest traitor ever. Dylan's bilingual report on Benedict Arnold. He wore my clothes:)

Anna's work shoes curl up, revealing her Elvish side. She got some new ones, but couldn't part with these.

Kayla started working at the hospital. She's on the general medicine floor, so she's gotten to see a little bit of everything. Good experience, but she says it's a little lonely because she doesn't work with the same people often or work as closely with them as she did at the nursing home. She just got back from a weekend visiting friends at college in Madison, though.

Easter at Grandma's. Anna carried Maya over the snowbanks and helped her hunt. I think she misses those days.

Maya's special tea party lunch. Jake even included a platter of marshmallows, chocolate chips, and sprinkles. We were trying to cheer her up when her long awaited play date had to cancel.

                                                             My awesome family

And me, as I frequently appear, pen in hand, ready to make lists and then only do half the stuff I wrote down, under the blanket my mom made when I was in kindergarten.

Anna in her Mankato State sweatshirt. I still can't believe she's graduating and moving out this summer! I am really going to miss her. I got her an alarm for her apartment and she's made the drive on her own already, so that's some comfort to me. She looks ready.

I hope all of you are doing well. And I hope it warms up soon! Only 8 more weeks of school.
